The fire in Sierra Madre has had 400 Homes evacuated and is 23% contained.
The smoke here in Pasadena is awful. Hard to breath.
Steep terrain. 400 acres burned.
No idea of how it started. Many homes could be threatened if the weather doesn’t cooperate.
Video of Sierra Madre fire.
Musexpo 2008 has begun. Last night was the cocktail party on the rooftop of the Hyatt in West Hollywood. The lineup is packed with the top players in the worldwide music scene. Including those companies involved in media and technology.

I hope to make it back for at least one or two afternoons to the panels.
There’s going to be a Musexpo in the London October 27-29, 2008.
More to follow.
There’s a 100+ acre fire burning in the Angeles National Forest. We just drove home from visiting our friends who live in Agoura and saw the flames and area that is burning. It is the Chantry Flats area above Arcadia and Monrovia. You can clearly see the flames from Sierra Madre.
More to follow. This fire is going to require air support first thing in the morning. The terrain is not going to make a fight on the ground very easy.
