I just had a friend visit the YouLicense site…. and this is what she had to say….

“Youlicense.com – these types of site suck and are horrible for the copyright owner – did you see the fee the copyright owner receives is 9% of the transaction? That’s bullshit……These types of services are baaaaaadddddd…..”

My response is that what options does a copyright holder have, you want to get exposure, you want to make some money, what are you going to do, continue to knock on the record company doors to see how much money you can shake out of them? Find an artist that is established to pay you for the use of your song? How much can you make that way, realistically??? Anyway the debate will continue.
