Yahoo! Layoffs, another 700 to be let go.

This is the fourth massive layoff in the last three years.

What is happening at Yahoo! that they can’t turn things around. There are partnerships with major companies, including Microsoft, AT&T, and others. The Yahoo brand is worth hundreds of millions if not billions.

As an investor in Yahoo I want to see them turn things around. Yahoo has a presence in the Burbank/Pasadena/Glendale area, with a large building, which at this time appears to be mostly cleared out of Yahoo employees, as this location was mostly for Yahoo Advertising, Yahoo ad products, Yahoo Sponsored Ads.

More to follow. We wish all the Yahoo employees the very best in what is a stressful time.  Its not all bad as we see Google and facebook hiring.
