You may have heard of an ordinance that is up for consideration that would fine people who smoke in multi housing units, like townhomes, condos, apartments.  There is a fine line between how this would be enforced. Chances are it will not pass, and if it does, it will be interesting to see  the process to asses how violators are fined. Apparently there is a $100 fine for the first offense and $500 for each consecutive offense.
