The 60 Freeway which travels through Montebello opened this morning on the westbound and eastbound lanes this afternoon.

Still many are still scrambling for alternatives.

Other routes the 10 and 210 and streets are packed with speeds of 20-25, and the the 60 is traveling at 65-70mph.

So you can drive the route again. The section from the 605 to the 710 have been closed since Wednesday afternoon

Additional closers are planned Sunday, Monday and possible Tuesday nights from 11pm to 5am Westbound and possibly two lanes of the eastbound will be closed.
