WorldFest Los Angeles – May 19, 2013
Just received this email from WorldFest….
Please join us on Sunday, May 19, 2013 for WorldFest, Los Angeles’ best veg festival, eco-market place, and food court! In order to make ends meet, the nonprofit organization, Towards Freedom, that produces the festival has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise $6,000 by March 27, https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1432057405/worldfest-2013 .  This would help pay for a small portion of the festival.

The main goals of WorldFest are to inspire compassion and motivate people in a fun way. Now in its 12th year, WorldFest has established itself as Los Angeles’ premiere solar- powered family-friendly “green” event. With a vast amount of exhibitors, a global vegan food court, 20 bands on three stages, engaging speakers on five stages, entertainment areas for children, animal adoptions, and an eclectic blend of live music, WorldFest promises a day of entertainment and inspiration.

We need help spreading the word about our Kickstarter campaign and giving people the opportunity to be a part of this dynamic experience.  Can you help?  If they have been to the festival, people know how special it is.  If they haven’t or cannot make it this year, they may want to help support a positive feel-good project.

The festival gives discounted and low cost opportunities for worthy nonprofits and conscious oriented businesses as exhibitors to reach an audience that is receptive to their messages.  In addition to keeping entrance tickets priced low, Towards Freedom/WorldFest continues to want to pay it forward by offering this year a chance for nonprofits to win $250 and a free booth by entering out Friends of WorldFest contest in April. Stay tuned for more information about that.

Thank you so much for considering to help us let people know about the Kickstarter campaign. You’ll see when you visit the campaign site that the festival really makes a difference, and we invite everyone to be a part of that experience no matter how great or small.

Thanks again,

The WorldFest Team
