Windows 8 Unleashed Hack-a-thon at MGM Grand
Join us for a Windows 8 Unleashed Hackathon.
Sunday December 9th 4:30 – 10pm at the MGM Grand (Room to be announced).
Spend 5 hours building your Windows 8 Application and show it off at the end for a chance to win cash prizes.
1st Prize $1000.00
2nd Prize $400.00
3rd Prize TBD (Possibly an Xbox )

Rules for the Hackathon
(Food will be served… transportation and housing will NOT)
1.) Windows 8 applications that you already started are allowed to be entered in the hackathon.
2.) The applications CANNOT already be submitted to the Windows 8 Store (new applications only)
3.) You can work in teams or individually. (If you work in teams and win a prize, it is up to you to decide how to split it. There is only ONE prize per winning team or individual NOT individual prizes for each team member)
4.) You can submit Windows 8 applications using XAML and C# (or c++) or Javascritp HTML5 for Windows RT
5.) You can submit Windows 8 Games for Windows RT
6.) You will have 3 minutes at the end of the night to present your application or game.
