Since the release of Apples new ipads mainstream software developers and less known ones have been scrambling to get their software ideas out and onto thousands of peoples brand new ipads. So far most of the applications and games are carryovers from the Macintosh’s equally hot iphone product, but with ipads larger screen and enhanced usability theres no doubting customers are going to be pleased with some of the new titles. Here are a few of the latest and most sought after apps and games for the ipad:

1: NetFlix – If you’re a big film buff, then you’ll love this application it works hand in hand with the fast WIFI connection to give users a massive selection of the latest block busters. Whether you’re into action, drama, horror or bollywood you can now spend hours streaming movies directly to your ipad, whilst sitting in a coffee shop enjoying your lunch break.

2:   ibooks – Another Apple creation. Users can download and read from a selection of the most recent publications, whether you’re after old classics or the latest fiction you can bring the book shop into your hands with this application deigned especially for the ipad.

3: Pandora – Every ones favorite music radio station is on the ipad. It uses basically the same layout as its PC browser based website with all the great features, a must have for any music lover or anyone wanting to discover unknown new bands.

4: News Rack – This is a great new RSS feeder that has been carried over from the iphone. It allows for a large number of feeds and a split screen layout making reading your favorite news much easier. If you paid for the iphone version already, then the ipad download is free of charge.

5: Loopt pulse – If you find yourself struggling to decide on what to do in the evening, then let this application do it for you. Loopt pulse lists thousands of possible activities, places to eat, events, theatres or anything else you can think of that may be going on in your part of town.
