Tippr Beginnings
Tippr was born inside the software company Kashless, Inc. that provides local marketplace solutions. Kashless develops software to enable local marketplaces including a local classified system, postage via e-mail infrastructure, and more. We came up with the idea of Tippr after talking with hundreds of local merchants and thousands of local customers about how to engage more deeply in their local communities. We heard two common themes:
Local merchants are longing for cost effective, measurable advertising that will guarantee customers will walk in the door.
Every individual we talked with expressed a desire to discover and experience their local merchant community more fully. Few had time for the newspaper or a desire to clip coupons.
Tippr was started to get these two groups together. Local merchants with local customers. Great deals is the glue for both. Tippr provides the technology.
