The Haiti crisis

The world has witnessed a lot of big bangs, huge loss of lives and properties since long, but with the development in technology we had started taking life for granted. Once again nature has proved that no technology can beat its strength and how small is our power when compared to nature. It has yet again successfully maintained balance on the earth and reminded people that they still have to die one day.

The Haiti has a grim history and a weak recognition. The financial background is very depressive and poverty has been a big drawback of the island. A sudden shake has left thousands dead and almost all the buildings in ruins. The country has virtually travel led 50 years back to its struggling days and people fighting hard to make both ends meet.

The official confirmation says that more than 150 thousands have already been buried and there are more to come. In this drastic situation, we as human beings should do our part and stretch our hand for help. Think of many helpless people, roaming on roads without shelter, food or any basic needs. How bad the condition would be and how worse it can become if proper assistance is not given to them.

Although many world organization have already swung into action and have started working for relief. But this alone is not enough as more resources are required to clean up the mess faster. The more is the delay, more are the chances of epidemics growing. All you can do is to help the non-profit organizations financially and pray for the best. This is high time, you open your heart and show some human feelings. This effort to spread awareness can hopefully awaken some sleeping souls and convince them to take some necessary actions so that the poor people in trouble can get some help.
