Teens Turning Green, a national environmental project and movement aimed at youth, will host an environmental summit for students, parents and educators at Los Angeles Southwest College on Sat. February 26.
The event will feature discussions with environmental experts, local elected officials, and environmental nonprofits, followed by interactive workshops with the goal of educating students on the impact of toxic exposures on daily routines, at school campuses and in their local communities.
The summit will take place in the Los Angeles Southwest College Little Theater from 1:00 pm until 4:30 pm. More information and program details can be found here.
