The L.A. Lottery League is kicking off a month-long musical experiment which will culminate in a concert downtown on February 26. On Sat. January 29, a “Council of Chiefs” will place local musicians in 12 new bands by lottery. The newly formed bands will perform and compete on February 26 at the “Big Show” concert at Project Infest.
Each group will have four weeks to come up with an original name for their new band, write a ten minute set and record at least 2 minutes of new music. The audience at the Big Show will vote for their favorites and special prizes will be awarded.
