Santa Ana is considering a law where the city can collect when a person/kid is caught spraying or defacing property. The misdemeanor will come with fees which can be collected or a lien placed on the parents assets including the home.

It should be a state and federal law if you deface property, by graffiti or other methods you pay for the cleanup. Graffiti is one of the worse offenses where public and private property is defaced.
