Pasadena PWP Planned Power Outage for July 2, 2025 for 8 Hours starting at 10pm

Many residents of Pasadena received an alert today, June 25, 2025 regarding a prolonged planned power outage to take place on July 2, 2025. starting at 10pm.

Many would be suspicious of such alerts, there is nothing posted on the PWP website regarding any planned outages.

Contact with PWP led to reasons why there is nothing posted, which made no sense.

Hopefully someone at PWP will change direction and post something as a media post or something to that effect, because as it appears there are potentially hundreds if not thousands of homes that will be without power overnight on July 2, 2025 into July 3, 2025.

Residents can call PWP and ask if they are affected, as the PWP account dashboard that the city spent millions on for billing and account management doesn’t appear to be configured to alert customers on their account of any planned outages either.
