Yesterday I had a visit from the Electrical Contractor for AeroVironment AV which has been contracted by Nissan to do home assessments site installs of the home charging units. Waiting for the quote for the charger and installation of panel upgrades.
Assessments Notes:
Misc storage in front of panel and clipboard, 90A service panel w/ remote meter (condo complex) HOA issues, apply, approval , required prior to installtion, * panel upgrade required.
This seems pretty cryptic from the notes. I assume there will be more details in the quite I will receive in the next few hours.
The contract was LINC Electrical, employee Fliehmann, (562)404 4883 rep id 11308.
My service request was 13963
The rep wrote down my phone number down wrong.
They placed a poster on the wall where they recommend the charger go, big problem… it is not to scale.. why not?
The rep was in the garage and talking to me on the phone and I could not understand what he was saying, but he was trying to fill out the form over the phone with me, simple questions, that I would have thought the rep, or the pre-assessment would have been determined, like who is your power company??? Why doesn’t AV have this info already filled out, or pull it form a user submitted app? So charging customers $99 for this assessment seems excessive.
