We are proud to announce our newest addition to the Altadena Farmers Market: Old Soldier Citrus. Old Soldier Citrus is Altadena resident Emily Green’s urban farm. This will be Emily’s debut in the farmers market world, but she is no stranger to gardening. She wrote about gardening for the LA Times and currently blogs [www.chanceofrain.com] about the complications of water in Southern California. Emily’s garden is located on old ranch lands and devised to use as little water as possible. Stop by her booth this week for delicious, local fruits and some neighborly agricultural wisdom.
