What is the Living Green Expo?
The Expo will bring together dozens of green vendors, green workshops, free give-aways and raffles, activities for the kids, and countless chances for you to learn green, live green, and lead green. The Expo will also offer a household battery drop-off event, a paper shredding event (maximum five boxes per person; shredding from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.), and an E-Waste event will be located just down the street!

The 2010 Living Green Expo will feature eight workshops throughout the day, each focusing on different areas where you can green your life. Check out the Workshop Schedule for details. The workshops are a great opportunity to learn green, to live green!
Planet Pals Playzone
The Planet Pals Playzone, co-presented by the Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District and the Moorpark/Simi Valley Neighborhood for Learning, will feature numerous activities for kids!
- Planet Pals Craft Corner: Using repurposed and reused materials, children of all ages are encouraged to participate with their parents to make a community kaleidoscope, paper pots, and decorative reusable bags.
- The “Share Your Green” Challenge: Audience members will be selected to compete in a variety of topics like Green Living and Green Shopping. Stop by and impress your friends and family in this free game, taking place every 30 minutes beginning at 10:30 a.m.
- EnviroScape: Come experience the combined effect of contributions from many small sources to learn that we all live in a shared watershed, and how our individual actions directly affect streams, lakes, wetlands, and even the ocean.
You are invited to share and showcase your green ideas, programs, and products.
