LA Marathon is coming Sunday March 21, 2010. Starting from Dodger Stadium to Santa Monica.
2010 Honda Los Angeles Marathon Presented by K-SWISS
It will be aired live on KTLA Los Angeles Starting at 6am.
5 different municipalities.
1 landmark per mile
It will go through the VA facility, at least 30 runners, 400 acre property, before the civil war. Been there since 1888, Fisher House, main hospital 24×7, patient center is being built, poly trama center

3:00 pm Crossing the bridge, Chasing the American Dream…How I became a World Record Holder by Arturo Barrios
Arturo Barrios is a former world record holder in the 10K and 20K distance, and he was the first man to go under one hour for the half marathon distance.
4:00 pm Life’s Run—Inspiration and Motivation for the 25th Anniversary LA Marathon by Rod Dixon
Rod, the LA Marathon Director of Training, is an international running legend. In addition to winning the bronze medal in the 1500 at the 1972 Munich Olympics, Rod won the 1983 New York Marathon and was a force in distance running for over 15 years in every distance from 800 up to marathon. He directs our LA Roadrunners training program and Rod Dixon’s KidsMarathon.
