‘Healthy aging’ event is slated for April 30

PASADENA – Register now for a free healthy aging conference, sponsored by AARP and local organizations, from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 30 at First Church of the Nazarene of Pasadena, 3700 E. Sierra Madre Blvd.

Dr. Gary Small, a recognized authority on brain health and memory, will be the keynote speaker. Topics include healthy aging, wise use of medication, financial security and how to avoid scams, working after age 50 and housing options for seniors.

Workshops will be provided in Spanish and other languages. Exhibitors will be on-site with literature for attendees.
