We don’t have a secretary and as farmers we are often out in the orchards, running errands or selling at farmers’ markets, so please leave a message if you call and we will respond just as soon as we can.

Come take a stroll with us through our orchard, taste what’s in season, visit the packinghouse and pick a bag of fruit to take home with you. The Sheldon orchard has 15 varieties of tangerines as well as blood oranges, minneolas and more! You will get the chance to see how they grow and discover which are your seasonal favorites. One or more of the farm family will be your guide and can answer questions you have about our farm, citrus we grow, or our favorite culinary uses for our fruits. Our tours have become very popular with locals wanting to find our more about our farm as well as with folks visiting Ojai from cooler climates!
The Schedule: Arrive at our packinghouse at 9am. Hear a little history of our family and farm. Walk through the orchard tasting and picking as you go. Return to the packing-house where you can purchase the fruit you have picked or arrange to have gift boxes shipped to your friends and family. Be on the road by 11:30 to get to one of Ojai’s fine restaurants for lunch.
Costs & What to bring: Adults $12, children 10yrs and under $8.00 (under 3yrs free). Price includes tour led by a farmer, tastings of the citrus we find in the orchard and one of our tote bags for picking (extra tangerines that you pick in the orchard will be $1.50 per pound).
Please wear suitable walking shoes. Bring warm clothes or hat and sunscreen as weather dictates. If you are bringing small children bring an off-road stroller or backpack. Bring addresses of friends and family to send fruit to! We are unable to accept credit cards, so please bring cash or check.
Once you sign-up for a tour we will send an e-mail with directions, the weather forecast and any additional information.
