As the pandemic continues to cause decline in business and disruptions in the economy, restaurants are faced with another challenge on top of everything else.

With their increase overhead and decreasing margins services like Grubhub, Postmates, UberEats, DoorDash and others take a percentage of potential profits from restaurant owners.  So with the increase in these services the cost of meals are increasing.

Some services have cut fees during the pandemic, but the fees are still high.  Fees range from 13.5 to 40% of the order. Assuming the claim is that restaurant would not have received the order had it not been for the service.  Some cities have imposed a fee cap on these services/

I encourage friends and others to pickup direct from the restaurant when possible.
