I spent a few minutes with Dr. Claude Matar, VP R&D with Flamous Brands.

I asked Dr. Matar about the humus in a bag product, which is all natural and apparently is shelf safe until it is opened and once opened must be refrigerated.

Also, we talked about some of the best Middle Eastern Restaurants around the Pasadena area. Middle East Foods in Alhambra comes highly recommended with some of the best hummus, second is Pita Pita in Pasadena.
