Ordinary investors can now invest up to $10,000 in a small business and if that business makes it big an investor could rake in large returns.

Basically referred to as crowdfunding which was restricted to accredited investors, the rich folk aware of the risks of the venture.

Slava Rubin has launched IndieGoGo one of the first crowdfunding sites, but now there are well over 100 sites.

Startups add about 3 million jobs a year to the American economy.

Some venture that the jobs created will be those of securities investigators.

You can make pretty good returns with sites like LendingClub and Prosper.
