Pasadena Doo Dah Parade Goes Virtual for 43rd Occasional
(July 16, 2020 – Pasadena, CA) Due to legitimate fears of the spread of COVID-19, many, if not all, large-scale fall and holiday events have been cancelled. While organizers of the Pasadena Doo Dah Parade understand a live event is not possible, they’re ready try something new. The offbeat and eccentric parade, annually held the weekend before Thanksgiving, will exist but in virtual space this year. The parade will take place on Sunday, November 22, in cyberspace.
Tom Coston, of Light Bringer Project, producers of the parade, says “This becomes a great opportunity to time capsule Doo Dah into the universe! It’s not just going to be pictures of people in funny hats, but what it will be- is going to surprise us as much as you. Imagine “Housewives of …Moscow”
The 43rd Occasional Pasadena Doo Dah Parade will be held virtually on Sunday, November 22. Spectators from around the globe can bring a lawnchair and watch from home.
More information will be posted soon on the official website PasadenaDooDahParade.info and visit us on facebook and instagram: @pasadenadoodahparade #pasadenadoodahparade.
