Tonight I received a call from (407) 999-8888, it was a message about lowering your interest rate to as low as 6%. To press 9 to speak with someone. What is Credit Card Services? When I pressed 9 I asked and they said that they work for Mastercard and Visa. I then asked what account they called about, and they wanted to sign me up to a new credit card. I asked them to put me on the do not call list and the lady rep hung up on me.
I then proceeded to call (407) 999-8888 and the number is disconnected or no longer in service.
This type of activity has to be stopped! Companies engaging in this type of behavior need to be fined.
Anytime there are repeated numbers such as above, the call is probably a scam. This is why we have Caller ID Deluxe. This call is supposedly from FLA.
