Tom Spellman of Dave Wilson Nursery
will talk to us about Backyard Orchard Culture. He has over 30 years
in the nursery business, specializing in the propagation and cultivation
of citrus, avocado and sub-tropical fruit trees.
Tom will share some of his very distinctive ideas on how to get the
most from our backyard orchards by choosing successive ripening
varieties, controlling tree size through aggressive summer pruning, and
growing varieties we know we will use. Be creative and efficient.
