The City of Los Angeles has dodged another bullet with a surprise $30 million.

Furlough had been setup and about to be put into effect by the Mayor and his staff.

Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa had a news conference yesterday  April 8, 2010 and warned of the furloughs.

And using demogagory as part of his informing works and city residents of the impact of the budget deficit.
