Cherry Picking 2011 Los Angeles Area

Yes!  In spite of a springtime that has felt more like fall, in spite of all the late snow, rainfall, wind and cool, cloudy days, the cherry trees have produced a nice crop of Lambert and Rainier cherries for you to come out and pick in early July.  If you are a regular visitor of the orchard, then you know by now that a definite date to open is still not possible to predict.  We hope the fruit will be ripe by the 4th of July weekend, but that may be an optimistic hope at this writing.  Progress report emails will keep you posted of the exact date.
Once open, our hours of operation will be every day, including weekends, 9-5.  We do have a supply of frozen apple cider, jars of cherry butter, apple chipotle sauce and apple butter.  In the meantime, if you desire any of these products, you may call or email to arrange a time for pickup.
Looking forward to seeing you soon.
