5:45pm - The celebration takes flight with an awe-inspiring air parade
paying honor to Bob Hope Airport,   Lockheed and Burbank’s close ties
to aviation. You won’t want to miss this historic flyover including
U.S. Navy F/A-18 Hornets,   B-25 Mitchell bombers,   Burbank Police Notar
helicopters, helicopters from Los Angeles County Sheriff “Air 5” Rescue,
Los Angeles County Fire and the Orange County Sheriff departments and
Aero Squadron World War II planes. Sponsored by the Bob Hope Airport.

The Party of the Century!

On the anniversary of its incorporation in 1911, the City of Burbank will celebrate its 100th year with the Party of the Century in Downtown Burbank.

Featuring awesome food from Downtown Burbank restaurants, an air parade, multiple stages, top local bands and DJs, a mascot parade, children’s entertainers, stilt walkers, Centennial memorabilia and community booths and so much more!

It all starts at 5:00 P.M. with a live broadcast on the steps of City Hall (275 E Olive Avenue) featuring KNBC Weatherman Fritz Coleman, civic dignitaries, former Mayors and a host of celebrities from Burbank’s rich film and television production history.

At approximately 5:45 P.M. there will be the Air Parade, with special flyovers including:  McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornets and B-25 Mitchell bombers!

Next, groove the night away at multiple stages with continuous performances a special kids stage featuring Radio Disney talent!

Also, Downtown restaurants will be offering special menus in celebration of the Centennial, so come hungry!

Stay for the finale: A Fireworks spectacular choreographed to Burbank’s best movie and television soundtracks.
