This year October 7th, 8th and 9th marks the 25th Annual California Avocado Festival anniversary! Since 1986, Avofest continues to be a community event supported by volunteers, donors and corporate sponsors. A perfectly balanced epicurean, entertaining and educational trifecta, Avofest proudly provides a fundraising vehicle for over twenty-two plus non-profits and community service organizations, many of whom rely on Avofest to yield a significant portion of their annual income. Much has stayed the same since 1986, yet much is changing as we enter our 25th year. In addition to garnering 65,000 to 100,000 annual festival visitors, a fierce dedication to environmentally friendly practices, and a commitment to quality, Avofest is also developing creative, fresh and smart programs to better support local organizations and businesses year round.
