The new Autry Farmers Market, sponsored by L.A. City Farm, holds its grand opening in the Autry parking lot on April 28 and will operate Saturday mornings thereafter, except for July 28, October 6, and Nov. 3. The market offers a great selection of organic and conventional produce from local farmers, specialty foods, hot food, fresh-cut flowers, and baked goods.
Sixteen local and organic farmers are featured, as well vendors offering a wide variety of prepackaged food such as gourmet cheeses, hummus, honey, almond butter, and more. Vendors include Tutti Frutti Farms, Underwood Family Farms, Avila & Sons Farms, Milkman Artisan Cheeses, Homeboy Bakery, Novy Ranch, Cobblermania, and Longshot Espresso.
A wide selection of freshly prepared foods by Heirloom LA, Global Soul, and the Crepe Kitchen is also available to tempt shoppers’ palates. Autry members enjoy a 10% discount when they show their membership card at any of the vendor booths. The Autry Cafe features a Mimosa bar, and everyone can enjoy live music and family games such as ping pong and bocce ball.
