Arroyo Food Co-op Pasadena Co-op

Are you looking for a Food Co-Op in the Pasadena, Altadena, Arcadia, Sierra Madre, San Marino, San Gabriel, Alhambra, La Canada, areas?

There’s about 170 members/believers in the now forming Arroyo Food Co-op. A committed group has tirelessly put efforts into making it a reality at least on paper, there is still a drive to get to 200 members, then 500 by the end of the year.

The general area of Pasadena/Altadena does not have a co-op and this would fill that need.

As we continue to see the proliferation of farmer’s markets, and markets like Whole Foods, Sprouts and Henry’s, the food co-op will surely fill a space that true community co-opportunity.

You can see what the Arroyo Co-op is doing and join here for as little $30/ year or become a full member at $300.  There are all sorts of benefits to becoming a member, but the most important is knowing that you are supporting a local organization. The Arroyo Co-Op is neither a for profit nor non-profit organization, but one that strives to improve and grow and it takes money.

If you are interested in hosting one of the meetings, the groups meetings are now about 30 people or more judging by the one held last night at Cafe Alibi in Old Town Pasadena.
