We are excited to present our 2nd Annual Margarita Showdown! This year, we have set everything up for you to enjoy from the comfort of your own home
The Showdown brings margs, music and people together to raise money for community organizations with some of our city’s most beloved Margarita Makers taking part in a lighthearted competition to determine who makes the BEST margarita in Los Angeles. The drinks will be paired with musical sets by Band Taco alumni including Chicano Batman, Spoon and Questlove. All proceeds from the Showdown benefit our partners, No Us Without You! and Watts Empowerment Center. Our friends at ChowNow are matching every dollar raised up to $10,000.
This year, we’ll be sharing the event live on margaritashowdown.com while you sit back, relax and drink your flight of margs curated from around the city. This year’s lineup includes:
The Showdown livestream is FREE and OPEN TO ALL at margaritashowdown.com. For the margs, we are offering Showdown Margarita Packages featuring the festival’s marg competitors. Packages are $50 each, available for pre-order and include:

Vote for your favorite local Marg Maker as they share their drinks and stories between performances by Chicano Batman, Questlove, Spoon, Local Natives, Angela Muñoz, Fred Armisen and more!
Throughout the program, we will be sharing information about the festival’s beneficiaries and ways to support their activism. In just 5 weeks, the HomeState community has raised$16,341.20 for our partners, No Us Without You! and Watts Empowerment through sales of our Chicano Batman Band Taco and we hope to raise much more with this event!
