Google Added Air Flight Scheduling Information To Google Search Results
The flight information comes less than two months after Google closed its $700 million acquisition of ITA Software, which specializes in organizing airline data, including flight times, availability and prices.
The deal raised eyebrows among some members of the travel industry and required regulatory review.
We will see that Google is now making a bigger play in the travel space. Integrating the airline schedules into search results and possibly soon to be offering travel offers and scheduling options for travelers.

You can bring vegetables from your garden, fruit from your trees (the quarantine has ended) and herbs and berries picked in the wild. You can bring eggs from your chickens, bread for the bread booth, and seedlings. You can even bring cut flowers. Just bring what you have, and we can all share.

The event is free and no RSVP is required, although the Arroyo Time Bank will be hitting you up for a $1 donation at the entrance to help cover our new costs for permit, inspection and liability insurance. Between 500-1000 people will be attending the event, and parking will be very difficult. If you can walk or bike, you will save yourself a lot of time, and you will also get a free raffle ticket for an organic cotton AUFM logo grocery bag! There’s tons of space for locking up your bike on the chain link near the check in area, which will be monitored throughout the event. If you must drive, leave yourself plenty of time for walking several blocks so you don’t miss the workshop you are interested in.

Beyond the Victory Garden: This workshop will provide a brief history of the “Small Farm Home” movement in the first half of the 20th century in Los Angeles, a precursor to todays “Urban Homestead” movement. In addition, participants will learn some strategies for researching farming and gardening histories in their own neighborhoods.
Lecture by: Alex Tarr is a PhD candidate in the Geography Department at UC Berkeley. He currently lives in Los Angeles where he is conducting research for his dissertation on the renaissance in urban agriculture.

DIY Cleaners and Toiletries: More Than Just Vinegar & Water: Janine Christiano will take you through a few of her favorite recipes for detergent, toothpaste, deodorant, all-purpose cleaner, and more using very simple common items you probably already have in your pantry and garden. Participants will leave with samples. Please bring a small mason jar or container.
Instructor: Janine Christiano is the founder of the Arroyo Time Bank, co-coordinator of the newly formed California Federation of Time Banks, and works as a program coordinator for the Armory Center for the Arts. She lives in Pasadena with her husband Guy, their pitbull/boxer mix Chloe, and three chickens.
