Thursday, March 19th: VOLK presents fashion show to promote launch of new in-store consignment boutique A Flair Trade

February 12th, 2008: Stylists Alie Volk and Alicia Zamparelli launched A Flair Trade within the VOLK his and hers Manhattan Beach boutique.
Unlike a typical consignment store, A Flair Trade pulls select merchandise from celebrity clients as well as wardrobes from the sets of TV shows and films. Burberry, Massoni, Marc Jocobs, Michael Kors, Diane Von Furstenberg, Trina Turk, Tahari, Alex and Olivia, and even Free People, Anthropology, and various European designers are just a few of the many brands found at A Flair Trade in VOLK.
Volk and Zamparelli are also catering to private clients with high quality items to sell. To make it convenient, they offer the option of personally coming to your house and filtering your wardrobe with you (first time at no charge). Both offer wardrobe consultations, organizations, image consulting, and personal shopping services (see services and www.aliciazamparelli.com).

Clients receive 50% on all items sold at the VOLK store as well as onwww.aflairtrade.com. They can collect the cash or use the dollars as credit for new fabulous additions to their wardrobe: essentially giving them a new outfit for free! Should any items not sell within the selling period, there is the option to have them returned or donated to charity.
Not only does A Flair Trade make clients money, but it also gives them revenue and room to re-style their wardrobe with new and fabulous finds… and it is improving the environment!
Statistic: If one woman buys a recycled garment as opposed to a new retail garment 437 million gallons of water is saved in one year thru the carbon process!
