Hello,

Thank you for your patience as we launch the Contaminant Level Evaluation & Analysis for Neighborhoods (CLEAN) project. We are excited to announce that we are now accepting soil samples by mail or at three community-based sample drop-off locations.

We are currently only testing samples for lead, but are exploring options to test for other contaminants (e.g., other heavy metals, PAHs) in the future. Results are designed to quickly provide residents with general updates on safety and potential exposure. This testing is not designed to replace testing that government agencies or environmental remediation experts may do, and it cannot be used for regulatory compliance with State and Federal requirements for remediation.

If you would like to send in a soil sample for testing, please visit our website for instructions and more information. This is a cost-free lead testing program.
