Uber Driver Attacked Costa Mesa by Taco Bell Executive
Benjamin Golden a Taco Bell Executive was booked October 30, for misdemeanor assault and public intoxication.
The video captured by Caban after installing the dashboard camera to record passenger interactions. Golden refused to wear a seatbelt and give directions.. Golden was belligerent yelling expletives at Caban.
The incident took place at a Costa Mesa shopping center at 1835 Newport Blvd.
Police being called by Caban at approximately 8pm on Oct 30, 2015.
Uber driver Edward Caban has had this happen in the past several times and has moved on from being an Uber driver.
Pepper spray used to get Golden out of the car.
Golden was too drunk on Friday evening when he got into Caban’s vehicle and then Golden started punching Caban several times. Golden is from Newport Beach.

The passenger was arrested. I understand it just a job hazard, but UBER DRIVERS DONT GET PAID ENOUGH TO DEAL WITH THIS STUFF!

Golden is out of jail, faces charges, including assault on a cab driver and public intoxication.
Update: Benjamin Golden has been fired from Taco Bell. Taco Bell Irvine has encouraged Golden to seek professional help. Golden led Taco Bell’s mobile commerce and innovation.
Update: Ben Golden has appeared on CBS/KCAL tv news, exclusive interview where he apologizes for his behavior that he could not believe it was him. Golden was kicked out of the bar at Baja Sharkeez Newport Pier where Edward Caban picked up Golden.
Also apparently Golden has a prior DUI.
