Yesterday a mystery box appeared at my front steps. Large , very large box.
I contained:
1. Kitchen Aid – Artisan Mixer KSM150PSMC
2. Williams-Sonoma Dishcloths , set of four
3. chef’n mixer spatula
4. spatula medium, citron yellow
5. William-Sonoma – HC 2qt Bain Marie
6. 4 set of mixing bowls
The value of over $400!
It arrived from Seattle, WA to be exact. I had no idea, my wife Jennifer had just been thinking about buying one of these mixers and talking about it with her carpool friend Marilyn. And presto it showed up at the front door. Several thoughts went through my mind.. it’s not mine, it must be a mistake, maybe it is a late wedding gift, maybe it is a birthday present, on and on.. This morning I decided to dig through the box some more and at the bottom was the letter from Toyota.

I had participated in the Toyota “farm to table tour” and went around to all the tasting stations, drove the new plug-in Prius for 2012, and got my cool cutting board, and herbs, and some interesting info and conversation.

Thank you Toyota for the awesome prize package. I don’t know how many winners there where, but it is awesome that your company does these types of community outreach programs and promotions.
