After several delays it appears that the Tesla Makes Model X Crossover is coming, Tesla announced the official Launch: September 29, 2015.

The price point for the Model X is higher than the Model S, and range is set to be 250 miles and with the added third row seat.
Invites for the Sept 29 event are being sent out and the buzz is building for the event next week.

Location of the vent is at the Tesla factory in Freemont, CA.

The first model will be a limited edition Model X Signature Series, once those have been sold and delivered a typical Model X will be priced at approx $5,000 over the Model S.

One of the most noteable features of the Model X is the Falcon Wine doors, that fold up and out, requiring only 6″ of clearance.

Falcon Wing rear doors fold up and out of the way, even in garages and narrow parking spaces.

The Model X has been in pre-order mode for nearly three years. We hope that Tesla has thousands of cars waiting to be delivered so once the assembly line goes into production buyers will receive their new cars quickly, delivery is expected in early 2016.
