Nowadays farms are so removed from the everyday experience of city dwellers, that the average North American city dweller has no idea where his/her food comes from. That it grows in the dirt and doesn‘t come from a super market. But things are changing and lot of people want to take matters in their own hands again. They stopped trusting the industrial food complex.
