Steve Jobs Cause of Death and Celebration Planned

Today we are learning the cause of death from the death certificate released by the coroners office for Santa Clara.

Respiratory arrest brought on by a “metastatic pancreas neuroendocrine tumor” was the official cause of the Apple co-founder’s death on October 5, at 3pm at his home in Palo Alto, Bloomberg News reported.

His occupation was listed as “entrepreneur” in the “high tech” business.

Apple CEO Tim Cook wrote in an email to Apple employees released Monday by Reuters that the company would hold a celebration of Jobs’ life on Wednesday, October 19.
