Since we are primarily concerned with DC Fast Charging, which Pasadena has close to 50, but the number seems to be dropping.
Currently as of September 11, 2025, the city posted this updated. Which we feel is not accurate based on what is really happening at the locations.

Even we take the Pasadena numbers above it’s about 50% of the DC Fast Chargers work.
Which even looking today at the PowerFlex app which is not that much difference in time.
Del Mar Garage 1 of 1 open, 3 installed, but I have only seen 2. The third is somewhere in the parking area. , but according to PWP all DC Fast Chargers are offline as of Sept 11, 2025.
Marengo Garage 18 of 24 open, 24 installed?

These numbers vary wildly from PowerFlex and PWP posted numbers. We do know there are physically installed chargers.
If Tesla had a charger failure rate like PWP we doubt the company would even be around after a few years. The charging network is key to the success of Tesla, and thus they continue to expand.
They are not installing level 2 charging, they are installing fast charging and that which is many times faster than the fast chargers PWP has installed. 50Kw is the bottom if the rung for fast chargers.
