Sprouts & Wheat Grass Shot at Pasadena Farmers Market

Almost every Saturday at the Pasadena Farmer’s Market at Victory Park, you can purchase many wonderful types of fruits, berries, vegetables and more. One of the main reasons I go is for a shot of wheat grass. I usually buy just a single, but many purchase a double. The flavor and taste varies from sweet to bitter depending on the time of year. Usually you chase it down with a slice of grapefruit.

The Sprout Farm run by Joan Kaplan offers everything from sprouted lentils to peanuts, sweet pea sprouts, and so much more. Joan has been a grower selling at the Pasadena Market for over 30 years!
