Soundcheck Nashville Flooding

Here’s a letter that went out to all the Soundcheck friends, customers,

To all of our friends and family:

It is with great heartbreak and disappointment that we have to make this announcement.  Soundcheck is one of the victims of a 150 year flood in Nashville, which has covered Cowan St. and the whole industrial area we reside in.  The photos look bad from the news, the view from the watercraft we took in this morning is much worse.  The Army Corps of Engineers keep changing river crest measurements.  We hope it has already crest.  We are told the residing waters will not be down enough until at least Thursday.  If you have equipment in Soundcheck, or know of someone who has gear in Soundcheck, we will allow people in as soon as the city clears us for access.  We can only pray that this will be Thursday/Friday.  Obviously all rehearsals have been cancelled at Soundcheck until further notice.  We are handling all the phone calls we can off of our cell phones and we have changed our website to accommodate a blog to provide everyone with current information.  We will be updating at 9am, noon, 4pm, and 9pm daily for at least the next week.  If you need information that isn’t provided on the blog, please contact Jan Greenfield or myself.  We will try to assist the best that we can.  Please keep all of the Soundcheck family in your thoughts and prayers, it’s a tough time for us all.  Thank you for your support.

God Bless and Thank You,

Ben Jumper
