Slaw Dogs to hold grand opening
The Slaw Dogs will hold a grand opening on Saturday for its new location at 720 N. Lake Ave., Suite 8 in Pasadena.
Ray Byrne, former managing partner of The Sunset Restaurant, Malibu and general manager of Il Fornaio, Santa Monica is bringing the upscale eatery to town.

Slaw Dogs makes a commitment to fresh ingredients and fine quality at an economical price. The menu features high-end hot dogs, such as the spicy and sweet Thai Slaw Dog. In addition to pre-built “slaw dogs” other features include custom toppings, a variation of sausages, salad bowls and sides.
Saturday’s grand opening will run from 5 to 8 p.m. Free samples of The Slaw Dog’s 10 featured specials will be available along with complimentary beverages. If attending, please R.S.V.P to rbyrne88@gmail.com.
A new addition to Pasadena this weekend will be Slaw Dogs. The grand opening to be held Saturday from 5-8pm.
Slaw Dogs apparently soft-opened a few days ago in the space on North Lake where Fredo’s Phillys used to be. They seem to draw a lot of inspiration from Oinkster and Fab Dogs.
Try their Belgian fries and beer battered (Newcastle again) onion rings, which are supposed to be good.
They hope to serve a selection of craft beers in the future.
