Are you running QuickBooks in a multi-user environment? Do you run on a server with 2 NIC cards, network interface cards?
Well today I after having countless problems with accessing the QuickBooks 2010 data file from client workstations and switch from single to multi and back to single. I tried to disable the second NIC, which at first impression it seems to have helped.
There are various explanations why the second NIC could cause troubles.
I’ll post an update after a few days to see if this helps.
So many servers have two NICs to improve performance.
