Pasadena is searching for a new City Manager. Michael Beck resigned to take a position at UCLA.

Councilmember Tyron Hampton has asked that Beck recuse himself from any discussions or negotiations with the NFL, Rose Bowl, and UCLA.  Which if those conversations have taking place are a clear conflict of interest.

There is apparently a search committee which was formed to search for the new City Manager for Pasadena.

The process for the search for a new city manager is underway. The City Manager Search committee has recently been formed and I will serve on this committee. The committee is comprised of the three city councilmembers, the mayor, and the director of human resources.
