Pasadena Police Air Ops hosts the 27th Police Helicopter “Disaster Response” training, Rose Bowl, 4/13/2016

The Pasadena Police Department’s Air Operations Section proudly hosts the 27th Annual “Disaster Response” training event at the Rose Bowl, Pasadena, CA. Public safety helicopter crews from throughout the southland will descend on the iconic venue as part of a large scale drill aimed at preparing our aerial first responders for all hazards disaster response.

The event (training) is not open to the public but the public can watch a multitude of law enforcement helicopters descending onto the grass lot southeast of Gate A, beginning around 11:00 AM. Sorry, but public access to the helicopters is not allowed.

Media is welcome for interviews and photographs. PIO Lt. Tracey Ibarra will meet media outside Gate A at 11:00 AM. Interviews will conclude at 11:30 AM. If you have any questions, please contact Lt.
