BE PART OF GREEN HALLOWEEN AT THE NEIGHBORHOOD GREEN FAIR, SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31, 2009 FROM 10 AM-3PM!!

The Neighborhood Green Fair is going to be an annual event every Fall and this year we’re doing it on Halloween (it almost never rains on Halloween, right?) We will have all the things you loved about our January event: FREE admission, FREE parking, Local Green Vendors, Green Non Profits, Water=wise Plant sale, Bake Sale , Handmade Soup Sale, Live Music, and Kids Activities!

We are also making some much needed improvements:  Greatly improved Parking, FREE Kids Activites, FIVE Different Food Booths, A raffle featuring an Energy Star Toshiba 32” 1080p, HiGloss Black, flat screen TV! (Thanks Toshiba), even More Vendors and NonProfits.

Note that with the help of Waste Less Living we will be minimizing all food related waste by serving beverages  in compostable cups, using compostable paper products, capturing food waste and recycling what can’t go to the high heat compost facility.  We think the kids (and adults too) will enjoy the Healthy Snacks we’ve searched for.   We’ll be offering tips for Halloween snacks here on the website so keep checking.
