February 11, 2013 – Pasadena Magazine announces launch of a new website, digital version of Pasadena Magazine and a move to a bi-monthly print version. This exciting development marks the first major change to the magazine in 5 years.
Pasadena Magazine is slated to launch its cutting-edge, interactive website on May 1st, 2013. The website will reflect the company’s core values of innovation, luxury and sophisticated design. The new format will also bridge the print and web worlds and feature Pasadena Magazine’s signature compelling features. The online edition will continue to examine our region’s most exciting cultural discoveries, businesses, charitable causes and interesting locals, plus local retailers, restaurants, events and much more.
Pasadena Magazine’s digital format will compliment the bi-monthly print version, and bring the journalism the community has supported since 2007 to a larger audience. The new format will allow subscribers and readers to have access to our fantastic archives, lengthier articles, more overall content and up-to-the-minute local stories. The website will also allow an easy transition from one medium to another with viewing on mobile devices including the iPad and smartphone.
“We want our new website to reflect who we are, a cutting edge, innovative, company, with a mission to support the greater Pasadena community and its businesses and charitable organizations with the best resource and service possible,” says Rebecca Haussling, Co-Publisher of Pasadena Magazine.
Pasadena Magazine will continue to produce its well-attended events that the city looks forward to, including the Go Red for Women Event at IX Tapa on February 20th, the 5th annual Women in Business luncheon held every year at The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens in May, and the sixth annual Top Doctors Reception to be held this year in June.
Pasadena Magazine is also proud to announce a groundbreaking event, the first-ever Innovation Conference Pasadena scheduled to explode onto the scene on July 11, 2013 at the Pasadena Convention Center. This one day conference will shine a light on the country’s leading entrepreneurs and problem solvers, and encourage a spirit of breakthrough advancement for the 21st century.
